I think the formula is F(feed rate)=S(spindle RPM) * Pitch
Correct; 20 tpi is 0.05" x rpm; if you use 1000 rpm the feed is 50.0fpm, if you use feed per rev the feed is 0.05 no matter what the rpm.Quote:
