Looking for advice on long length 80/20 fixture
Hello,
I am am doing a project that isn't a CNC but would like to use similar components. I am wondering what suggestions people may have.
I would like to build an 80/20 frame that has a 2'x2' footprint and is 8' tall. The frame would carry a payload no more than 50 pounds. Initially I am looking to have this frame travel 20' but it could end up going as far as 40'
Any suggestions for a kit/parts that could mount to an 80/20 track? I want to avoid as much drilling and cutting as possible but then also use components that would be robust. Any thoughts too if this could use just one motor or if it would need two racks and motors?
Thank you

If you're not willing to tell us what this machine is supposed to do, we won't be able to tell you how to make it work. You've got a tall skinny box with 50 pounds dangling from it, and it's supposed to travel 40 feet?

80/20 has roller wheels of various types: https://8020.net/panelsdoorcomponents/rollerwheels.html
Given how tall and narrow your contraption is, I would add "override" wheels or brackets underneath the tracks so that if the contraption is disturbed or tries to tip, it will not fall over/off the track.
