Pics of my DMM servo retrofit build

After having a bunch of studdering issues and losing position with my stepper motors I decided to fix it with 750w DMM servos. Along with a host of other upgrades.

First I had to upgrade the power distribution panel

Then I had to build the servo control cabinet

I mounted it to the side of the Machine

I had to drill and tap for more armored conduit runs

Re-organized the rear control panel after removing all of the stepper components

I then mounted the motors (having to do some cutting on the way covers since the servos are longer, stainless way cover extensions are being made)

Everything is working great so far! I haven't machined any metal yet (was waiting on new way covers) other than some small drilling jobs but have cut plenty of Delrin and wood. I would say the servos are game changers!
