Yaskawa 100V or 200V single phase servos

Hello, I am new to Yaskawa servos and need help.

I have a 120V single phase to power a Yaskawa servos (less than 500W) which are rated either 100V single phase or 200V single phase. How do I power say a 100V servo with a 120VAC - would you suggest I use a step down transformer? Thanks.

You only linked the family of servo drives and didn't provide a specific model, however the 100V servos are listed in the technical docs as 100VAC to 120VAC -15% to +10% for voltage range on the 100V single-phase drives. Just wire it up, unless you have something that is putting abnormal spikes on your line.

Do make sure it's listed as an appropriate pair with the servos you have. If you purchased it from a Yaskawa vendor then that shouldn't need to be checked.

The 100V single phase only pairs with up to 400W servos, fyi.

You can use / connect the 120v to the 100v Ac servo Drive without any problems is the servo Drive single Phase what is the model number of the Servo Drive

yes, 100W and 400W. Where does it say -15% to +10% for voltage range on the 100V single-phase drive in the spec? I could not find it.

The nominal voltage can vary up to 5 percent. This puts the acceptable voltage range of a nominal 120-volt at between 114 and 126 volts. For Yaskawa, -15% to 10% is 85VAC to 110VAC which is outside of the fluctuation of the nominal 120V?

They have been used for the last 40 years on 120v Ac for the 100v drives 240v Ac for the 200v drives I have never seen a failure because of the input voltage

One thing never to do is to use a Plug to disconnect / or connect the power

These will be expensive why these new models you can get the same from older models at a lower cost

Need to know more of what you want to use them for

I guess I was blind, just noticed it

Single-Phase, 100 VAC
"Main Circuit Power Supply 100 VAC to 120 VAC, -15% to +10%, 50 Hz/60 Hz"
