Anyone familiar with older Yasnac 3000g controller?

I have a 1981 Matsuura mc500 Mini Master that I recently purchased and am trying to get running. The machine had a problem with a control board which I have already repaired. The next issue is when I power the machine up I get an Alarm 14 . It cannot be cleared with the reset button. Looking it up in the manual it states its a format error and illegal characters or illegal g code is used. It says to press reset button, then correct the tape, clean the head or correct the program. Do I have to delete whatever program is in the machine first top clear it? How do I do this? The machine has an RS 232 port. I have an adapter to hook it up to my lap[top.

I am trying to put all the parameters in the machine but cannot due to this error. Does anyone know how to clear this?
