Looking for a manual rotation fixture for 3-axis CNC
Hi
We're looking to purchase a manually operated rotation fixture - ie.
- put a piece of wood inbetween 2 ends;
- set the rotation degrees (we'll probably just use increments of 90deg - eg. 180deg is the opposite side)
- wood must be clamped tight in fixture (for obvious reasons)
- once job is done, change rotation & load job for the new side
I've looked online & i'm not even sure if this thing exists or maybe i just don't know what it's called as i've found nothing.
I've found motorised components to make a 4-axis machine but we're after something manual & not complex.
The boss will be purchasing a 6 head 3-axis at some stage so want something that could be used for this also.
I thought this would be a fairly common fixture component as it's useful as not only as a stock fixture but also for easy & cheap(?) multi-side milling.
Does this tool/thing exist?
Cheers all

About $100. They allow up to 1 degree increments.
Spin indexer.
This looks fantastic, thank you.
I'm just not sure how a piece of wood would fit to the rotation end - how would an inserted collet hold the wood piece?

You could get a 4-jaw chuck with 5C arbor, instead of a collet.

Do you possible need a professional production tooling and fixturing design expert?
