Why? The control keeps track. If you want to know what tool is in what pocket, look at the tool manager.
It is useful to do this if you are using oversize tools, that way you can keep adjacent pockets empty. But I can't say that my response will be much more constructive than that last one sorry. As it stands I do not think that there is a way to do that, but that is only a guess hopefully someone else here can give you a more definite answer.
Fanuc has a large tool option that you can get to accomodate oversized tools.
