Looking for help making an mdf printing jig
Good evening cnc zone long time no see.
I have a massive amount of keyrings I need to print but I have to make them one at a time so I need a pressing jig made up if possible?
The jig will be larger than a4 so I can print my designs in a set layout in a4 and place over the top of the jig to produce 15 in one go.
Material and sizing.
Mdf sheet 9” x 12.5” depth not more than 1” (if possible)
15 milled out recesses to be spaced equally 20mm apart
Recesses need to be 3” wide x 1.5” high and 1.29mm deep
I passed on my cnc machine a long time ago so it’s Sod’s law I now need it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks.
Paul.

PM if you have updated files. I can make the quote and produce it to you.

If this makes sense??
An MDF base 340x250x20.
The red outline needs to be exactly A4 size and roughly 1mm deep to mark the outline of an A4 sheet so i can align the printed A4 sheet with the recesses,
Each Blue area is where a keyring will be inserted so cut out to 1.2mm depth.

Please let me know if you cant see the above image.
Many thanks

The machine that can cut a sharp internal 90 degree corner would be a game changer. You either have to chisel the radius away by hand or accept a "dogbone" relief.I'm not sure where in the UK you would find 20mm MDF as most stockists hold 18mm or 25mm as the next step up.One or two seem to supply 22mm-is the thickness critical?Once you have the material,a piece of this size is a pretty minor job and shouldn't cost much.

It doesnt have to be 90degrees its just a box for the example ;)
MDF 20mm is also a rough guess i dont buy it so i doint know the sizes available so 18mm or 25mm is fine.
Also I can't edit my origninal posts to add the above.
