Z8350 with UC300ETH and UB1
Time changes everything. Here it comes, a small footprint all-in-one mini PC which able to run Mach3 and UCCNC. It takes a small CPU resource. The price of this PC is around 100usd include Windows 10.

Re: Z8350 with UC300ETH and UB1
Nice. What machine is it?
Do you have more videos of it?
Re: Z8350 with UC300ETH and UB1
It is fixed column CNC milling for soft metal cutting. We designed and made it for our own use.
We prefer big bathtub rather full cover. This helps to collect splash cutting oil back to pump. It also collects cutting chip or prevents fly away chip.
This topic is intended to show current Atom technology which related to CNC things.

Does UCCNC run good on it?

Thanks Vrasak, I see that this thread is about the computer, but I was interested in the machine details also.
Do you run UCCNC also on that Atom computer? Any videos? It would be interesting to see if it runs well, then I might buy one.
Re: Z8350 with UC300ETH and UB1
I tried this mini PC with UCCNC on the first day when received this PC. Since then I don't have a chance to try it with UCCNC again.
It seems that the Windows 10 keep updating or adjusting itself for the first few hours. The video shows that the CPU graph is jumped up and down before I start UCCNC software. I believe that UCCNC wouldn't consume much CPU time. However, I will check and confirm it again.

Is that .Net package good for Win10? On Win8 or Win10 you should install .Net 3.5 in the "Turn Windows features on or off" window by selecting .Net 3.5. Just press Start and type "optionalfeatures". It will download the proper package.
