A axis as rotorary
Any one here successfully used a rotatory A axis.
I've been using Deskcnc for almost 15 years. It has worked very well for me. Last week I set a rotatory table as a axis. I ran a short g-code file 10 or 12 times as a test will no problems. Then I put in apart to be machined {that was done without shutting down machine or software} and any A increment now results in A running continuously. Have to use E-stop to stop program.
Any help appreciated.

Re: A axis as rotorary
I'd look for a bad connection to the A-axis encoder. The DeskCNC is a servo-based system, unlike most of the solutions we talk about here which are stepper based. When servos get detached from their encoders they will run away as soon as they get power; it sounds like that's what's happening here.
