MasterCAM multiple pockets in one tool path group
I am trying to mill multiple pockets with the same tool. I would like the mill to complete each pocket before moving to the next (as this is much faster due to my slow rapids.)
I have been doing this by creating a separate tool path group for each pocket, and containing it with its associated geometry. This works, but is time consuming to set up when there are many pockets.
Is there a way to make one tool path group with a containment geometry that includes all pockets, but tell MasterCam to finish each pocket before moving to the next?
When I do this Mastercam will only mill one depth layer at a time, jumping from pocket to pocket and completing the each layer for all pockets before moving to the next deeper. This is very time consuming to mill.
Thanks!

What version are you using? Is it a 2d or 3d pocket?

Old version, X4. I guess 2.5D? Just Mill Toolpaths-> Surface Rough->Pocket. 3 Axis machine, no 4th axis.

Have you tried "Optimize cut order" in Gap settings?
Got to be honest, i can't remember in X4 very much.
Post up a sample file for us to look at.
