Anilam Crusader 2 controller

i am looking at purchasing my first milling machine, it is a 1986 mill port knee mill with anilam crusader 2 controller. i have a diploma in machine tool tech and am comfortable using canned cycles and g-code. i have done a little reasearch and found that this controller can be repaired here: Lynn Electronics Corporation

has anyone had any experience with this controller? is there a good chance i will have problems with a controller that old? the asking price for this machine is $5500, does this sound reasonable? thank you.

I just got a mill with Crusader II controller and will scrap it for a Mach 3 controlled system. The Crusader II was great technology for the 70's when it was designed but there are better options now.

That is way too much for that machine !!!
JMO but not worth more than $2000
