Mach 3 , ESS and MB3 : Speed signal output 10V for every speed.
I'm trying to help someone (newbie) set up this combination , but I am 4000km away......
Its very hard.....
Currently he is getting 10V at AO and AG, on the MB3, all the time, no matter what speed he selects .( M3 S10000 ,M3 S240000.)
PWM is set to 260.
ESS and MB3 profiles are both loaded.
I am a bit flamuxed from going around in circles with him for weeks.
What setting actually determines the output voltage from ESS/MB3?
My understanding is the MB3 converts a PWM signal to 0-10V?
Is there a rogue tick box that needs ticking or unticking?
VFD is set up to accept a 0-10V speed signal.
Any clues gratefully accepted...lol
Re: Mach 3 , ESS and MB3 : Speed signal output 10V for every speed.
I think he has it sorted. It turns out that the anaspeed2 circuit was not calibrated from the factory, like the manual says.
I think something else was going on as well, but I can't determinne that.
I experiemented on my setup with PMW set to 260 and 100 in Mach 3 and ESS, and it didn't seem to make any difference. I have seem posts that suggest these do have an affect...Oh well....not for me.
