Small CNC with "INDUCTIVE COMPONENTS" DC brushless servo motors

Hi everyone,

Please take a look at the pictures.
I have got a nice small industrial CNC machine without control.
"INDUCTIVE COMPONENTS" DC brushed servo motors on all 3 axes with IDC24 connector board(What is the function of this board?)
HEDM-5500#B06 encoder on the top.

Now I am looking for solutions to go on and find right controller, amplifier and power supply and etc to workwith Mach3.
May "Advanced Motion Controls" B12A6F fit and some Mach3 USB board?
I am very appreciate for all recommendations and ideas.

The only IDC24 I am familiar with is the Opto22 I/O board with opto-isolated inputs or outputs.

Sorry, my first post was not correct.

Motors are DC brushed servos (not brushless).
Machine is probably some "Cam/alot" dispenser?
Am I right?

I need your help to identify MOTORS.
I have 3 motors with different model numbers:
IC-10338-0, IC-10307-0 and IC10309-0.
Haven't found nothing about "Inductive Components" and motor parameters (voltage, power etc.) on web.

Because there is no control box, all suggestions how wake this machine up are welcome.
My idea is machine for wood engraving and also maybe laser cutting engraving.
What I need for this:
1. Movement control (like Smoothstepper)
2. Drives for DC brushed servomotors
3. Power supplys with correct voltage and power

The servo motors look like Dynetic Systems DC Servo Motors 12 / 24 volt ?

Any DC servo drive with the proper voltage should work.

You may be able to find AMC drives on ebay that will work.
Look for new drives first. If you only use step-dir, then the AMC would work.
Research first, not all of the drives use step-dir interface.

Gecko DC servo drives should also work.

I think you meant 'AMC Wouldn't work? They use +-10v analoge AFA the ones I have used.
There is also Aerotech and Copley if analogue.

Yes you are correct but there are a few that have step-dir. If he can find a Digiflex DPRALTE drive.


"2.7.2 Step and Direction

Most DPR drives support a differential or single-ended Step and Direction input command to control the motor in a simulated stepper motor configuration. The Direction input commands the direction of rotation, while each pulse of the Step input commands the motor to "step" in the specified direction based on a scaling value that is entered in DriveWare. Since the input is directly controlling the actual position of the motor, the physical motor location can be determined without any other feedback element. DPRAHxx drives offer +24V Step and Direction, and DPRALxx drives offer +5V Step and Direction."

Motor identified.
This is made by MagMotor. Mod.C21-E-230FE.
Continuous Torque: 40 ozin, peak torque: 280 ozin, back EMF Ke=8,1 V/Krpm.
Encoder 1000 lines/rev

Check out Larken drives for that motor, step-dir controller for mach3.
