Ive been lurking around looking at build threads since I found one of these motors on YouTube. I want to build a small simple single or maybe two cylinder. Question is how do you guys grind your cams?
You can machine most of the material away with a milling machine and then "round-off" with a hand file.
I made a machine to grind cams but some will say "it'll never work" and go into vast theory as to why not.
However, the cams are simple and the 4 cylinder engine (25cc) it is installed in will run up to 10,000 rpm. Quite a satisfactory result for me.

Have started to build a "parallel tracking" grinder to do vintage motorcycle cams. More acccurate approach for these.
