I have a Chain feature (gear) that I created and I want to convert it to lines/arcs/splines. I'm a total Esprit noob and I can't find anything in the help menus on how to do it. My exported iges and dxf files are empty.

Click on the chain, move cursor to open area on screen, right click, copy, click on arrow for list, click smash.. Done.

You can also smash a model with no geometry to get geometry. It's a pretty handy feature. You're welcome.
