How to make 360 Deg. Circle Incl. Division Lines
I’m making a rotary table for my mill and I want to mark on the perimeter of an 8” diameter circle all divisions from 0 to 360 degrees. The lines for all major divisions like 0, 45, 90 degrees etc. should be say 1/2” long and subdivisions perhaps 1/4" long
Using MC6 how to I go about it? I can divide a circle as needed but the lines are too many and are crossing thru the center of the circle and I want them to be only close to the perimeter

Create one say 0° and use Xform rotate and give in the window how many times divide 360/? and that will give the angle there should be option to select a center point. last time I have seen V6 was 1997.

Never thought V6 was so old but it does the job I want and actually pretty good.
Thanks cadcam for your time, I will give it a try

Sorry guys, I have X6. I thought V6 was the same
When I saw DOS mentioned I knew something was wrong, so the X in front makes a difference

I was just messin with you. I still have a seat of V8 on the old computer I use for RS232. Sometimes programming it there is faster than walking.

"Modify" "Break" "Many Pieces"
There you can divide by distance or segments.
