Mazatrol EIA-Dash (IMAC-LT) and IMAC-TP service manual, which is used in the QuickTurn 200C lathe, among other machines.
It refers to the 05-mainboard, 05-servo amplifier board, MSVA, MSVB servo amplifier board series.

I have a Mazak QT6 with gantry. Turns out it runs on "Mazatrol EIA Dash" I'm new to this, how do I program this machine? Is there a CAM program to feed it into the serial port on the machine?

Thanks IEC79! In my hunt for EIA Dash I stumbled over the service manual. I finally figured it is G-Code with some Mazak quirkiness. I am hopeing that HSMX can post process my SolidWorks file. On another forum they said EIA Dash was a Mazak low spec controller? Seems no one had seen it as a stand alone on a QT-6. I am hoping I can figure how to control the GL-6 gantry also.
From my research it looks like virtually all MAZAK QT-6G(Gang Tooling) were EIA-Dash Controlls
Could you share me the parameter file? thank you very much.
OMG! This manual just saved my butt! I know this is a really old post, but I wonder if you have the programming /NC operating manual for this controller too?

Damn, how did I not know about that after all the googling I have done!!! Thanks. Unfortunately there are no manuals that reference this controller. All are newer or the Mitsubishi based ones. I will put a question up and see if someone has one now that I finally know what the controller is!Quote:
