Cutting 1.5mm thick PVC vinyl?

Has anyone on here used one of these plotter machines to cut 1.5 thick material? I have very simple shapes to cut. No sharp corners or small radius. I need to cut out shapes that are 750mm long by 250mm wide. The material is not on a backing. I need to cut all the way through the material.

I have been looking to build a special purpose machine to do this but if I could buy one of these plotters it would be a lot better.

Right now I am using a rotary blade drag knife mounted on an air cylinder with a stylus on the top that follows a template made out of wood or aluminum plate.
