Tapping auto reverse attachment for CNC router with DSP keypad

Good day .
I am wondering if there is anyway to use a
tapping self reversing tool with my cnc router?

The minimum speed of my spindle is 3000 rpm.

First of all, please describe your CNC machine. Usually, the converter has the signal point of forward turn/reverse

It would be possible if you have enough torque at that speed. You'll have to look at the maximum allowed speed on the tapping head you choose. I don't think I have ever run one faster than about 1000 RPM. Also, do you have a lot of Z travel? Tapping heads are pretty long, even small ones will be in the range of 130mm or so by the time you get a tap in it.

Another option might be to mount an auxiliary spindle (electric or air drill) off to the side of your main spindle and use that to drive a tapping head.
