blown spindel controller MBL-1100-300H
Hello
I have a Syil XP5.(from 2009). The servo controller of the spindel is out of order. The machine moves without the spindel controler.
The print type: MBLC-1100-300H / 1100W/3500RPM/220V. I would like to substitute the blown part.
I attached two picture and marked the blown part with a yellow pen. Is that a opto coupler? Does anybody know the type and maybe where to buy.
Thanks a lot.

Re: blown spindel controller MBL-1100-300H
without the circuit diagram of the board and details of the part numbet of the burnt IC
its going to take time to reverse engineer the board
going by your photo
Attachment 402086
it looks like the burnt component is something like this VIPER12A :-
Attachment 402088
data sheet:-
Attachment 402088
or possibly KA7552A
it will help to know the part numbers of the 4 parts arrowed
Attachment 402090
and to see a detailed photo of the underside of the board

Re: blown spindel controller MBL-1100-300H
Probably viper22a 8 pin switch mode controller.
Almost any part of control wiring touching chassis can kill this device.
Other parts mostly regulators, 5v, 6v? 12v. Maybe even 3.3v. Probably ok, if you are lucky
Talk to you friendly syil agent! (chair)Best of luck.

You could try MINI LATHE - MILL BOARD REPAIR SERVICE. I've used him a couple of times. Great service.

On one side there are 4 connector and on the other side there are 3 conector.
Attached a picture from the back side. I saw ooictures of other Syil spindel controler and they look pritty much the same.

Re: blown spindel controller MBL-1100-300H
seeing the photo of the under side of the PCB
the TOP221-227 Family of three-terminal Off-line PWM Switches looks more like the IC used

PDF data sheet
Attachment 402156
it looks like they have cut off pin 3 -
one of the six source terminals to increase the insulation between the source and the control pin 4
