i'd like to determine on my syil xp5 the tool length with a mach3 macro.
I connected a switch to the a-limit switch (current thread on cnc) on the brekout board (input pin 15). When pressing the switch the z-axe stoped and and i had to press the reset to contignue with machining.
My question is:
-is that a correct way?
-can i reset the e-stop in the macro and contignue (is there an other way).
-how is homing handeld with the xyz axes.
