Hard Drive Backups

I am trying to make back-ups of the various Hurco's we have on the floor. I was successful with a BMC30 running Ultimax 2.10 software. I have NOT been successful for 1.63, 1.64 or any of the others. Even another at 2.10. Is there a particular trick to getting Windows to recognize the drives? If I can see them in Windows 10, I can make a sector copy of them and have a backup. But running out of ideas on how to see them so I can make images and sector write new drives as backups.
