Nice idea Khalid, I think that this could me more easy to make it besides graphical fountain. Maybe I'm wrong but this project could be done like a led matrix. just instead LED we gonna be put a solenoids. The user interface could be same as a matrix interface, exceptions here are going to be the pressure pumps instead regular water pumps. Lets say we gonna need a two rows: horizontal 63 solenoids and vertical 12 solenoids. Each solenoids should be connected with their own supply of water with valve inside to control the height of water level. There is going to need a LED power light to lighting the water in dark time( for evenings). and I think that everything else could be done with matrix GUI. This project could be done with arduino due to the lot of arduino real time clock souse codes .Nice Idea!!!! Lets build it!!!!
You are right , i am also thinking on the same line. Using LED matrix or hacking any digital clock with LED matrix. Output of each led will drive a MOSFET that in-turn open/close the solenoid valve:)
