Conquest almost working - no hydraulic pressure
We got our 1990 Conquest 42 in place and powered.
I am having a power up problem with the hydraulic motor.
It doesn't come on when I turn the machine on.
I get a "not ready" alarm that I can't reset and some other alarms related to no hyd pressure.
Does anyone know if there is a RESET or breaker or fuse or something that could have tripped?
It was working at the machine dealer a couple of days ago.
Thanks for any hints,
Robert
Re: Conquest almost working - no hydraulic pressure
Hello, As I mentioned before I am not familiar with Hardinge machines but maybe I can point you in the right direction. First, what kind of control do you have on your machine? Fanuc? Second is this a new machine to you or has the machine been running in your shop for some time? Did the problem start with a hyd. problem. Do you have a manual mode? Can you jog or turn the spindle in manual? As far as program code I am not that good at it. But I might try a M05, S200 and then a M03. and then try another M05 to turn the spindle off. You also might have to do a gear change. Does everything else work? Does the machine home out? Can you turn the coolant on and off? Do all the axis move? Do you have a turret? Does it rotate? Any messages on the crt? I wish you luck.
