Spacing between parts for waterjet cutting

Regarding nesting multiple parts, is there a minimum spacing between parts for waterjet cutting?

I usually use 0.1", but depends on the parts/material thickness

Don't forget to allow for your lead-in either.

I use 3mm or 5mm depending on the thickness and shape of the parts

we space ours at .03 inches / .762mm very great for common line cutting

if its not a common line i go with .1 inch
