Problem with Newlydraw Software

Needs help urgently.
I bought a Laser Engraving Machine in China (SW 3060) which came with Newlydraw Software.
Although I installed the software according the instructions, I am not able to let the engraving machine communicate with my computer.
To me it looks like the computer does not "see" the engraving machine.
I don't know how to solve this problem. Does anybody know how ?

If you have a USB machine it needs the driver installed, which should be on the install CD.

If it is connected via the parallel port you may be using an unsupported OS, it will work best using Win XP Home but I have had some success with XP Pro (depends on hardware).

Does the laser initialize ok on startup (find home switches)?
