Hello
We immerse circular with 3 axis into the part (X,Y,Z) Our Cam doesn’t give out a circle but many single blocks with points. Now it happens that the machine doesn’t run with full feed when immersing. When the machine reaches the full deepness and it has to run with 2 axis, then it speeds up with full feed.

What could be the reason?
Maybe the machine cannot cope with the calculation?

You mean G64 or? G54 is the zero point.
So it’s CFIN and G64 active. Even though CFIN doesn’t work in this case as the radius correction is not active.
Maybe I should add that it’s TRAORI active.

Yes, of course I mean G64 (thick fingers and a small keyboard doesn’t go well together) wink.gif
I cannot imagine that TRAORI could have an influence here because the swivel axis is not involved.
With this high feed I rather think about the block transitions.
If G64 doesn’t help you out... maybe try "G641 ADIS=0.2".
If the contour elements don’t vary in size, then I have the following rule-of-thumb:
ADIS<smallest element length/2
With that, the contour accuracy will be softer but it will propably have a positiv effect on the fragmentation of the CAM.
Maybe BRISK can bring more acceleration...
