You would probably get more traction in the router forum and not the Tormach / PathPilot subforum =)
That being said, there are some cool videos of other users that have fitted lasers to their existing CNC machines and set the focal length correctly to use the laser. I believe he controlled the "on/off" with the z-axis height (laser focus). I have never used or even seen a CNC laser engraver, so I may be using all of the wrong terminology here.
