Using steppers with 1/4" shafts I want to convert their rotary motion to linear at a maximum rate - IOW, something like one full turn of shaft produces 1" of linear motion*. How can I do this and what do I need? Hopefully fairly inexpensively.
*The acme rods I'm using take too many turns to produce 1" of travel.
