Another Boundary Question
Ok Guys, I was doing good and starting to understand all the hints you were giving me. Got most features done. Now I am on bottom of part and can't get a finish pass to do what I want. If you look at model I have the step roughed out. It's a curved cut, but does not have a square bottom. The step is tapered. I want to do finish passes back and forth on just the step with a .010" step over. I cannot get it to do what I am trying to do. I've watched the training videos, but didn't see what I wanted. I think it is another boundary issue and I am probably just not selecting/creating the right boundary. I'm using a .500" endmill with a .030" corner radius to maintain the radius shown in corner of part. Anyone want to take a peek for me? Thanks again
Edit: Ok, found part of the problem. The step is not just tapered, but also has a radius in it. Good grief, something that can't be machined? :D
