Hi all.
I've been struggling to drill holes in straight lines on my cheapo benchtop drill press. I realize that runout is a huge part of the problem, but I think I can do a lot better by bolting an X-Y stage to the thing so I can move the material (often aluminum bar stock) in straight lines and precise distances. Does anyone have recommendations for an affordable X-Y platform, or advice on this idea?
