I would not mess with it unless they can prove the Fadal will work with all its previous functionality and there is a process upgrade. Centroid controls are powerful but there is little to no info on the Fadal swap..or even pricing.

actually you end up with more functionality. pricing is available, no problem. and the system is available as a diy system or pro install. typical diy price is in the $4 to 6K range.. and typical pro install starts at $15k with training and warranty.

My first post too, but I just got done doing a full retrofit on our Fadal 3016 with Gelntek DC motors. Way better than the previous Fadal controls but also 20 years newer tech. I'm still ramping up pushing the machine and have a few mechanical issues to sort out, but the electronics and control side is solid.
