I'm cutting small shapes (roughly 50 x50mm) out of 3mm aluminium. Not much restriction on tool size other than it is making 8mm wide plunges. I have some 6mm end mills with 3 flutes I was going to use.
What is the ideal speed and spindle rate to run at and how should I do one cut at 3mm depth or keep it less.
