Gantry square procedure tutorial with PlanetCNC TNG

We wrote a short tutorial on Gantry square procedure. We would be grateful for any tips or recommendations to make it more useful or informative.

After a quick read, a few things come to mind, both from having done this with my dual Y axis CNC and controller (which uses two sensors and software auto squaring), and from reading your text.

In no particular order:

1) I felt it was important to also first have my axes' travel accurate through calibration, before starting to do the squaring
2) In your text,

Move V:

Value of measured misalignment of master axis. This is the distance for which slave motor will retract.

... was it to read "Value of misalignment of 'slave' axis." ?

3) I prefer to use the largest distances to determine if the axes are square, so instead of cutting a small square and using calipers first, I use the 345 triangle method. making small holes/dots in the waste board with a 15 degree V bit, then measuring the hypotenuse with an accurate mm ruler. Then adjust accordingly. The cutting and caliper measure of a square I would do as a final check.

4) I would add a diagram that illustrates what the user finds with either method, and how this translates into a 'U' or 'V' mm correction in the 'Gantry Square parameter boxes'.
