anyone who used a rotating ball nut and ballscrews on here?
as above does anyone on here use a ballscrew and a rotating ball nut? just looking for ideas on how to fix the ballscrew both ends and i cant seem to find any examples anywhere.

Any way that you can accurately clamp it, a machined P clamp is one of the better ways to clamp the Screw ends, or a machined split block

what i mean is having steel or aluminium plates either end with the ballscrew attached either end and tentioned but the steel frame isnt truly flat on the sides only the tops are machined flat for the linear rails if this makes sense?

You would have to machine a P-Clamp, that would fasten to the Plate. if you want or need to tension the Screw, then you would have the same P-Clamp mount and Drill and tap the ends or the Screw
There is very little Tension needed on the Screw, depending how long the normal is only 4 to 6 ft.lbs.
The accuracy alignment of the Screw with the linear Rail is very important
