Acromatic 950 Touch Screen Retrofit - No Response From Touch Screen

Hello All,

I'm working with a Cincinnati Milacron T-10 Horizontal Machining Center with the Acromatic 950 controller. The touch screen when on the blink so my boss purchased a touch screen retrofit a while back and never installed it. I have been typing in programs manually each character at a time and so I decided to plug in the retrofit to hopefully take advantage of the download feature using a floppy disk. I got no response from touching the screen in both MDI mode and in diagnostic start-up mode.

Any suggestions as far as diagnosing why the touch screen is not working?

Really new to machining and CNC machining. I've just started working for a University as a student and need help to get the 25 year old machine running. I would like to impress here in my new job so any help would be extremely appreciated.
