Aries AR08SE from Parker in lockdown

Hello everybody and Happy Holidays!

My Aries driver (amplifier) AR08SE model, blocks the communication. I can send enable/ disable signals, it reacts properly at everything else, but does not accept any command. Either via its own tool Aries Tools software through a com port with RS232 protocol, nor via the controller card.
The local Parker distributors tried to unlock-it without result and now wants to send it all the way to California just for that.
We are extremely time-challenged and therefore this is not an option. I know there must be another way out there. I am reaching out to those of you with experience in this matter and ask for help.
