Hi
I am quite ok with BobCAD so far but
For my turret i do need t slot s Milled. So First the "valley " andere then verry slow the slot.
I am of course not drawing with BobCAD i use turbocad.
But how to tackle that issue? What to draw? How to tell BobCAD
It is an 8 Tool turret and i want to simply clamp the steel direct to the bed so the cnc is required to calculate the not even path s

If this is on a mill use a single line and a profile cut.
You mention turret though .. If this is a lathe BobCAD does not currently do mill/turn.

thank you for the fast reply it is clear i need to draw an extra layer and do 2d milling my question was if there is any support of the software i might not be aware of ,..
No sorry i was not clear enough i want to build an turret for my cnc lathe.
And therefore i need to mill. My design is based inspired of

and i want for better force transmission an t-slot design ,..
probably the reason why they did not is because of complicated manufacturing

As for how to do the T slots I would draw a line straight down the center of the slot and then add parallel lines with a fillet on the end or a circle which you will then break and trim. I too am interested in a turret of the design you show in the attachment.
Draw the slot once in detail and then use the rotate tool to create the other slots.

I tried the CAD of BobCAD for me it is not intuitive and ui wise not verry economic but as we say " Gusto und watschen sind verschieden " wich means that tastes are different
The atc turret is for my Klippfeld lathe and is controlled by arduino and 2 steppers No pressurized air is needed and best you can use it Manual or by emc for instance i work on an arduino based handwheel wich is based on Mr sansbury95 s work. And this i recycle for the turret.
