Can other S/W besides Mach3 support the CNCest 6040 CNC unit
Hi Folks,
Just wondering if a problem I have is related to MACH3 license , from China, as my programs just
seem to stop dead at about 80%.
Can other GBRL programs support whats in the CNCest 6040 machine does anyone know?
I do have a mini CNC machine with the control board on the back. Turning on the spindle is a manual job
and the machine uses GBRLcontrol for running the code...but it works ok via USB....
Could I use the board on the 6040 I wonder?
Cheers
Richard

Load the real Mach3 and buy the license!
You will have to set it up with the same profile as the Chinese copy has, so write down all the configuration Ports / Pins Etc.

I downloaded the legit mach3 SW from artsoft, put my pirate lic in the folder, and it worked fine. I've never had a problem. Some do and some don't.
Are you sure it's not just a bad code line?.
I only use mach3 for simulations on my cad pc now. I use UCCNC kit on the actual mill.

Non-licensed Mach3 will only run 500 lines of code, is that where yours is stopping? If so, buy a license and it will go to unlimited length.
