Tormach PCNC 770 Series 3 belt replacement?
After some milling, I opened the spindle cabinet and see a busted belt drive. Any brands or specific products that are compatible with the PCNC 770 Series 3? Anywhere to get a replacement belt? (Not from Tormach their shipping prices are insane and they will be closed the rest of this week.) Also what size belts should I be looking for?

Belts usually have their size marked on the outer- non wearing side. If it is a V belt and broken, just stretch it out and measure the length- that will be your size. IE if it is 35 inches long then it will be a 350 belt- then the width will usually be 3/8 (3L) or 1/2 (4L) so a 3/8 wide belt 35 inches long will be a 3L350

From images I've seen it looks like a 'poly V ribbed belt'.
Measure rib count, distance apart of ribs (center to center) and length of yours. They come in many variations.
Page 28 will give you idea on how to figue what you need.
https://dunbelt.com/catalogos/1.%20D...GO%20GERAL.pdf
For example from the catalogue: A belt wwith 4 ribs - 2.34mm rib spacing - 500mm length (closest to it)... You would look around for: 495J4

Re: Tormach PCNC 770 Series 3 belt replacement?
I tried finding one at my big city belt and pulley supply store, but.
NO LUCK.
They sold a "close" size, but when I tried to install it, it was about 1/2" too small.
I couldn't get it on no matter how hard I tried.
So, I returned the belt and had to order the correct one from TORMACH.
Sorry for the bad news.
