How are you controlling the 4th axis in lathe mode and 4th axis mode? Are you using two different motors? What control software are you using?
A axis - the axis of rotation of the cutter 1 - C-axis cutter 2 - axis Y, router - axis Z. uses 2 different maotora on the axis A - first for turning, asynchronous, second stepper drive with harmonical drive.
