Hi all,
I have a VMC with a Fanuc OM-B controll. I need to adjust the spindle orientation because it is slightly off.
As far as I know the spindle orienattion Parameter is #6577.
However my control jumps from Parameter #3199 straight to #8100.
Does anybody know how to enable the #6000 parameters or another way of setting the spindle orientation?
Seems like I can adjust the spindle orientation with a pot on the ac servo amplifier.
I guess I have to adjust the "Position Shift".
As an alternative, you can adjust "In-Position" for the high and the low gear. Has anybody a clue what the in-position is?
Is Position Shift the right Pot to tweak the spindle orientation?

I'm looking for a cheap solution for monitoring this Sigma VC1000 milling and this machine has a Fanuc OM-B.

[6000 séries parameters are only for serial spindle... Not supported by fanuc 0B ...
The variable resistor called position shift on your orientation pcb ( probably a20b-0008-0030 ) IS only to shift the position about less than +- 2°...
