Does anybody know if new tools can be registered to the controller from an NC program?
I am doing this on a couple other machines, and it works flawlessly. However, I can't find documentation for creating new tools with code on the Okuma OSP-300.
I'd like to continue using 6 digit tool numbers and tool life management if possible.
