Al flat bar 10mm x 50m 6061T6

As the title says

I'm having trouble finding some.... :(
I'm looking for some aluminium flat bar 10mm x 50mm in 6061T6
I can find 6060T5 but do not want it as its difficult to machine
I am from Melbourne
Can any one help?

Hi Chris

you can get 6061 plate from Action Alum, they can cut the plate to the size you require.

Action have branches in Bayswater Dandenong and Thomastown

Hi Chris / Anyone else looking for Ali flat bars,

If you can't source them locally you can import them from:
A) China - This is an obvious choice, and is obviously a little risky due to quality and communication issues.
B) South Africa - SA has some of the highest quality Ali you can find globally. The terrible exchange rate also makes importing from SA a viable option even if you are in Australia.

Aluminium Express in Bayswater got a pretty good stock of a few grades cheaper also.
