Skil 14amp Router With Variable Speed And Digital Display

Looking at getting a new router. I just came across Skils 14 amp router with built-in variable speed control with a built in digital display. Seems like a very slick set up. I was curious if anyone had any experience with it and what their general consensus is? The digital display, 1/2' collet, electronic controlled variable speed and price make it very tempting. Also I was curious if there was any way to "tap into" the speed control to allow for adjusting it remotely?
