artcam 1325 Chinese cnc 220v problem
Hi, no info came with it, ask saller still watting.
Well my main panel have the neutral and ground in common.
I use a 30amp breaker 2 phase to fee the cnc controller.
Attach images.
When I turn the breaker at controller the contact won't engage, I manually engage, the vfd power up and the inverter at bottom not power up , I read 17vac at input ???
Any advice.. thank you.
Re: artcam 1325 Chinese cnc 220v problem
On the first picture I think I see L1, L2,L3? If so that is markings for a 3 phase power input, which you do not have. The other lead with spiral tape should be marked Green or Green Yellow is that machine ground? Picture of the machine nameplate would be nice.
Re: artcam 1325 Chinese cnc 220v problem
hi, that's what i was thinking at first when i saw the L1 2 3 on the top of the screw-bar but the tech who sold me the machine say to connect l1 and l2 to power up but its not ..
at top of the bar i see a blue wire and red tougher (neutral and hot)?? can't be , maybe the label wrong ??? i hate to take all the wire out to figure out where the go ...
p.s. the green tape wrap its the ground coming from the panel. my neutral its connected to the ground at main panel.

Look at and take a picture of the machine data plate. I bet it says 3 phase.
FYI Chinese single phase wiring is one hot and another wire they call neutral but its not a grounded neutral like we use. The green or green and yellow wire is machine equipment ground. Your getting neutral and the ground confused. The Chinese 220 v does not use our neutral.
