Mori Seiki MV55 Fanuc 6m parameters 4001 and up

My battery backup recently died on a fanuc 6m with an upgraded memory board (no longer bubble memory). I re-entered parameters manually and everything seems to working fine except that I cannot change parameters 4001 and up. These are the parameters that have to do with what tool is in what pot on the random arm style ATC. I can change parameter 4000 to whatever I want which is suppose to be what tool is currently in the spindle. I am at a loss. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!
