daewoo puma 12lb tape format problem/parameter problem

We have a Daewoo Puma 12-l-b with a Fanuc 18-t controller that we are having a problem changing the tape format on. All other machines in the shop use a one line canned cycle format and this one uses a two line format.We have tried changing in the settings menu from no cnv to type 15 and it wont change( the value wont change from 0 to 1). We have also tried changing in the parameters under parameter 5102 with the same results ( wont change value from 0 to 1). We are able to make changes to other parameters, just not to this one. Maybe an option that was somehow disabled? This machine was inherited from another shop that closed. Anything we are missing here? Any help will be appreciated
