Hi Guys,
Got the following alarms on the display. Any ideas?
I did some searches and it may be replated to the door switch, but I'm no electrician so I don't know what to check.
Any help gratefully received.

Check your input Power if all 3Phases have the correct voltage and check the fuses which are befor the Amplifier. seems one Phase is missing. Maybe one of the Circuitbreakers after transformer or the Fuse before you transformer released.
You can refer to the FANUC maintenance manual. I think you should check the input power for the Power Supply Moudle.
thanks,
Aaron
Open phase in the converter main power supply.
The input power supply has an open phase.
Check the power supply voltage.
If there is no problem with the power supply voltage, check the connections.
Thanks for all your replies.
It appears that possibly a phase dropped out of the main supply. However, it is all back and running fine this morning.
I checked across the phases and the voltage measurements are present and correct.
Strangely, my Haas VF2 was unaffected by all this shenanigans!
Back to making chips :)
Cheers,
Matt.
Ha Guys,
The alarm has resurfaced
When I check the power, all seems ok at the main switch that locks the cabinet door. 220V in and 220V out (should be 230V?).
With the emergency stop pressed, the machine will start without any alarms. But when the stop is released, the relay/fuse/whatever it is shown in the attachment kicks in but immediately jumps out again.
Then there is obviously no power at the 300B17, 300B17A & 300B17B wires.
Is this component the problem? or do you think that there could be something else causing this?
Thanks.
I have a mail from the technical support manager at MAG, but to be honest I don't really understand it.
Time zones are a big problem as he's in the US and I'm in Thailand so we're all out of synch.
I've attached his reply. So if anyone can assist in putting it into words that someone who's not particularly clued up about electronics can understand I'd really appreciate it.
Mechanically I have no problems as I can see what's going on, what should be happening and how to fix a problem, but my electrical skills are pretty much limited to rewiring motorcycles.
:drowning::drowning::drowning:
hi did you fix the problem yet
so, you can not fix it. you get a new machine beter?
Sorry for my previous reply.
To be honest, I now can't remember what that problem was. I had so many problems with the Fadal. The mechanical problems I could fix one by one, but also had some issues with the Fanuc control and in the end I got so fed up with it that I sold the machine for scrap value to my friend who used it for spare parts.
I bought a Haas VF2 which certainly worked well enough for what I want. Probably not as strong as the Fadal but good enough. I then bought a VF2SS. Both have been working hard since the day I bought them and have served me very well, and cost me much less than the Fadal did in it's final few months!
